Flowery Necklace

Thursday, 16 May, 2013

I visited Vancouver in the beginning of May and got inspired to create very flowery designs. This is a custom necklace that will accompany a beautiful malachite green silk charmeuse prom dress, with lace embelishments in silver, navy blue, and turquoise. The necklace is made with sterling silver chain and findings, metal mesh, abalone shell, freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals, and glass.

Very Berry Necklace

Thursday, 16 May, 2013

Spent an evening last night creating a custom garnet and sterling silver necklace to match an elegant simple burgundy sheath dress. The beaded beads turned out looking like berries. I added rough cut garnet nuggets to prevent overly sweet look.

Lonely Earring

Thursday, 16 May, 2013

There was once a lonely earring that lost its companion… Since it is pretty much impossible to find identical stone, I decided to create a new pair of earrings, using two of those beautiful jasper rondelles, adding yellow opal and pyrite stones, and preserving the general style and design of the original earrings.

If you have a piece of jewellery that has a meaning to you, and needs some work, let me know.
